The Season 10 and Season 11 comics form one complete story that takes place after the events of I Want To Believe (2008). After Season 11 ended, IDW re-launched its comics series in order to align with the continuity established by the (live) revival episodes of 2016.

#1: “Believers,” Part 1 of 5 – June 19 2013
Starts with 5 issue myth-arc: “Believers”. For years they investigated the paranormal, pursued the “monsters of the week,” and sought the truth behind extraterrestrial activity, along with the grand conspiracy surrounding it rooted deep within their own government. But when AGENTS MULDER and SCULLY reunite for a new, ongoing series that ushers THE X-FILES into a new era of technological paranoia, multinational concerns and otherworldly threats, it’ll take more than a desire “to believe” to make it out alive. The X-Files: Season 10 also sees creator Chris Carter return to the fold as Executive Producer! Continuing the story where the TV show and movies left off!

#2: “Believers,” Part 2 of 5 – July 24 2013
Dana Scully has survived abduction, cancer, motherhood by mysterious means, and surrendering her “miracle” baby. But she’s never encountered anything like these “Acolytes” before, or the mysterious “Deacon” who’s saved her from them. Plus, Mulder follows a lead to Arlington National Cemetery and the final resting place of the “Lone Gunmen.”
#3: “Believers,” Part 3 of 5 – August 21 2013
The Acolytes are seeking Scully’s lost son, William, and Dana realizes there’s more than meets the eye to her abductor, known only as the Deacon. Meanwhile, Mulder uncovers more of the truth than he can handle when an old, cigarette-smoking “friend” pays him a visit.
#4: “Believers,” Part 4 of 5 – September 18 2013
Mulder continues his search for Scully, who has been abducted by the mysterious Deacon. And what happened to Scully’s missing child? Mystery upon mystery sets the stage for the next phase of Mulder and Scully’s lives!
#5: “Believers,” Part 5 of 5 – October 16 2013
The sense-shattering conclusion! Reunited at last, Mulder and Scully pursue the Deacon deep beneath the surface of Yellowstone National Park. Also in pursuit are the telltale black helicopters of the FBI, but are they friend… or foe?

Missing persons reports point to the return of the “giant, bloodsucking worm” known as the Flukeman, sending Mulder to Martha’s Vineyard to invesigate and Scully to Quantico to examine the supposed remains of the creature. And what they both discover lies beyond belief and terror!
